Modern Media Company enjoys collaborating with highly skilled media professionals worldwide. The company’s principals, Felix and Kathrin Werner, work with a wide array of emerging content creators to develop and tell unique stories.

Felix Werner – President

Felix began his career in the Education and Film Departments of the L.A. County Museum of Art, then gained firsthand knowledge of the ins and outs of production through a variety of jobs on studio and indie film sets. Today, Felix works as an independent media financier, film and original series producer, channel creator, and distributor. He designed Modern Media Company to have the ability to produce content with a wide variety of styles, formats, and budgets, with the goal of shepherding them from development through the distribution process.

Kathrin Werner – CFO

Kathrin began her career working as a financial consultant in Europe. Seeking to expand her creative horizons, the Swiss native moved to Los Angeles, where she studied film at UCLA and worked extensively in production before becoming Vice President of International Sales for Motion Picture Corporation of America. She later worked as a sales agent for Capitol Films and assisted European entertainment companies as a segment producer and consultant.

James Fields – Head of Production

James Fields is the Head of Production for Modern Media Company and its subsidiary independent channels. Like the early filmmakers at Inceville, he can do just about any of the creative tasks on a film. His first feature as a co-director and cinematographer, PIPE DREAMS was an Official Selection of the Sundance Film Festival.

Adam Dunlop-Farkas – Head of Content

Adam Dunlop-Farkas is the Head of Content for Modern Media Company. He is a writer and filmmaker who has contributed content for the HV Arts Hub, HieronyVision, Tiny Mix Tapes, and more. He is currently in post-production on his first feature film as a director.
